The Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters has funded Outi Kaltio’s dissertation on Finland’s oldest book, Pategni, Theorica.
On Saturday April 29 at 12 p.m. she will give her dissertation presentation on the subject at the University of Helsinki’s Faculty of Humanities.
The subject of the presentation is: The Pantegni, Theorica of Constantine the African: A Text-Historical Study of the First Medical Compendium in the Latin West.
The presentation is held in Porthania (Yliopistonkatu 3, Helsinki), lecture hall PIII.
A short presentation will be given in Finnish, whereafter the discussion will be held in English.
