At the suggestion of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, The Magnus Ehrnrooth’s foundation has granted 600,000 euros to the Center for Coastal Ecosystem and Climate Change Research (CoastClim).

The project is led by Alf Norkko and Markku Kulmala, both members of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, and professors at the University of Helsinki.

In addition to Magnus Ehrnrooth’s investment of 600,000 euros, Ella and Georg Ehrnrooth’s foundation has granted 450,000 euros and Louise and Göran Ehrnrooth’s foundation 150,000 euros.

In total, the Ehrnrooth foundations have thus granted the project 1.2 million euros.
