Lithium is an element that has traditionally been used as a medication. Nowadays, the world runs on lithium-ion batteries. 

The symposium titled “Litium – pärjäämmekö ilman?” delves into the presence and utilization of lithium, examining its roles as a medication and as a material for batteries. The agenda also encompasses illustrative instances of alternative energy production techniques.

The symposium is in Finnish and English.
